Reports - Merging Data from Word to Excel

Met with ATY, who showed me a much quicker way to generate reports. The format of my original reports had to be changed to make this possible and ATY preferred that my reports had a similar layout/format to the other Tech Arts Teachers - I'm not really bothered how or where the TAI S.H.I.N.E. picture is placed..

.

With the help of an I.T specialist, I've been able to further modify the labels for the merge fields and simplify the process so  much more. Found I had some difficulty with the format when merging and had to work through those issues. The 21st time was the charm!

I quite enjoyed learning this strategy, although there is a lot more I can learn, I'm happy with where I'm at and how much easier report writing will be in the future. Have added a label: additional comments - to be able to pop in extra information if need be.

Update, 7/10 - Completed Outside School's Year 8 reports. Happy with the reduced amount of time it will now take me to produce reports for each cycle/cohort. A couple of small format glitches to iron out before I am entirely happy with using mail merge
